This new proposal for a bus stop, would be located in Times Square (New York), and Designed by Fiori. The driving concept for the design is a system of LED lights. The system within the bus stop implements kinetic color technology to communicate the proximity of the next bus. This specific project was one of the four featured in their entry "The Bus Stops Here" which won Fiori a gold award. Each of the bus stops had their own concept: Bloom, Bend, Mod, and time square. So this is a driver for mass transit, which becomes more efficient through the use of a lighting system that denotes the buses proximity.
