Color Maturity Levels

This was an interesting look at marketing in Hollywood. The study looked at the top grossing movies under each of the content rating blocks and what colors were used in thier advertising/marketing images. There is a direct correlation between the target age of a film and the colors used. The older the target audience, less colors are used and they are typically darker. The younger the target audience, the more colors are used, and the colors are typically more vibrant.
