Thermology is based on the fact that all things emit radiation. Because of this fact we can quantify the amount of radiation emitting from the objects around us. Generally the warmer an object is, the more radiation it releases. Thus thermal Infared vision is born. It measured the amount of infrared radiation emitted from an object and quantifies the levels in a simple color array. The warmer the color, the more radiation being emitted, therefore the warmer the object.
