Structure (FEA)

FEA (Finite Element Analysis) is used in new product design, and existing product refinement in the objective to predict structural failure. It is made up of a computer model of a specified material or design that is stresses and analyzed for specific results. The physical structure behavior is derived from a mathematical formulation, this calculation is used to solve the "stiffness matrix". The most common implementation of FEA is in stress analysis. The color gradient denotes the locations in which the object is more perceptable to failure. By using a system such as to analyze points of weakness in an object enables the manufacturer or designer to change the criteria of that object. Which, this will lend in the minimal structural failure once the product has left the manufacture.
